question.

how could something mean the world to someone and be nothing to another at the same time??

what is the nature of that something then?

does that something exist in two forms?

and, less importantly, nonetheless curiously so, who’s left the fool? who has had their memory, or perspective, be robbed of its value?

is it a mere matter of one person communicating their perspective to the other, and vice versa, so that one true nature of that something can be established? be it priceless, or worthless, or somewhere in between…?

i guess that takes courage…to take the chance and determine the true value of something that could end up as having meant less to one person than it did to another.

and if the results are disappointing…makes you wonder whether or not appraisal is a fool’s game…would it be better to be happy with fantasies to cherish or be disillusioned by the less pretty reality of something?
